The Snow Shoe Rails to Trails wants to remind everyone to have a good time while out riding the trail and Township, Borough Roads. Well Spring is here it is easy to speed while traveling from one point to another. We want to remind you all that there are kids and others out there walking, biking etc so we ask that you pay attention to speed limits posted. We do not want you having any accidents or someone being injured.
Pay particular attention in Number 10 where the houses are close to the trail. Let’s keep these trail partners happy and go slow and keep the Music boxes off.
Then, traveling from Snow Shoe Township through Snow Shoe Borough, kids are always along these roads. So pay attention to the speed limit signs. We have noticed a few people traveling faster than they should be. So, this is a reminder to keep the speed down so we can continue to use these roads for atvs/utvs for access to the Snow Shoe Campground and other businesses. We have a good thing right now supporting the businesses and having access to them, so let’s not ruin it.
Snow Shoe Township Roads leading to the Bloody Skillet Trail - Speed limit is 20 MPH. People have told us that atvs/utvs have been traveling a lot faster than 20 mph. So, Please help us keep these roads legalized for atvs/utvs by traveling slow and obeying the speed limits.
Please take pictures of abusers license plates and of the operators and Names if possible, and get that information to the SSRT Officers. We will turn that information over to the Sheriff’s office. We need to police within our ranks so we can continue to have a safe place to ride. Thank you all! SSRT
