SSRTA participated in the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, May 11th during our Work Detail in Rush Township, Centre County. Our team collected of 30 volunteers collected 48 bags of trash and numerous tires and metal items along 17 miles of highways.

Brush Clearing and Gillentown Lights

Andy Basalla, Cameron Fye, Gary Halsnik & Larry Mayes trimmed brush on both sides of the trail from Clarence Gate to Number 10 Bridge. Then Andy Basalla & Cameron Fye installed new solar power lights above the doors on the Gillentown Trailhead restrooms. The lights should take about 2 days to charge. Thank you to Lisa and Mark Skripek for their donation of the lights.
