Volunteers had a very productive day at Black Bear Trailhead. Andy Basalla, Ron Gillette, Gary Halsnik, Larry Mayes worked with Jim Verost operating his skid steer to drill a few holes for corporate sign post. It just wasn't an easy job as both holes were filled with rocks. But, somehow we got the holes drilled and post installed and also placed two new corporate sponsor signs at Black Bear and one at Gillentown Trailhead. So, we now have spaces available for more corporate sponsor signs. We want to thank our corporate sponsors for all their support!! And a big thank you to our volunteers.

We also want to start to sand and paint all gates/bollards along the trail from Clarence to Gorton. Any volunteers interested in helping to paint, please let us know. We can provide you all the material needed. Thank you Andy Basalla, Gary and Mary Halsnik, Ron Gillette and Larry Mayes.

Snow Shoe Rails to Trails was honored by having Dan Nelson and Josh Muir attend the SSRTA meeting last evening. They asked some questions and provided some input to our partnership. It is great to have this type of communications with the leadership of the Philipsburg Elks Lodge & Country Club.
Members of the trail, when you get a chance, stop in and get a meal. Food is wonderful!!
