Snow Shoe Rails to Trails held DCNR Youth Certification Training at the Philipsburg Elks Lodge on Saturday, September 4, 2021. In preparation for the training. one of the trails corporate sponsors, Gongaware Environmental Services mowed the weed and grass at the training area.
Donna Verost, Mark Watson, George Holt were the trainers.
After a classroom session, the attendees did various group exercises on their atvs and then went to the Elks Lodge for lunch supplied by Snow Shoe Rails to Trails. Trilby Mayes, president of SSRT presented the trainees their temporary registration along with an SSRTA T-Shirt.
We want to thank George Holt for helping to train all these years. He is now retiring from doing any other training sessions but still not giving up riding atvs/utvs.
Thank you also to Kevin and the servers at the Philipsburg Elks Lodge. The lunch & service was great!!
