The Snow Shoe Rails to Trail Volunteers have been busy all week preparing trailhead, trail and township roads for the upcoming 8th Annual Carns/SSRTA Pig Roast this Saturday, September 19,2020. Gary & Mary Halsnik, Andy Basalla, Ken Rowles, Trilby & Larry Mayes, Ed Thomas, Connie & Patrick Warefield have been busy painting, brushing and weed eating at all gates, signs, fences. They also installed a new stop sign at Clarence Crossing and a new directional sign at Number 10 crossing from Birch Road. Dust control was applied to the Clarence area and also adjacent to the trailhead and down the trail for overflow parking. The Gillentown Trailhead has been leveled out and lines painted for parking.
