The
Milesburg and Snow Shoe Fire Companies will be holding a mock accident
on the Snow Shoe Rails to Trails on Sunday, April 24, 2016. They will be
placing notification signs out at Clarence, Gorton and Entrance to
Gillentown Trailhead.
There will be a Control Center at
Gillentown Trailhead, starting around 8:30am. They will be traveling to
Peale Tunnel and in the opposite direction to the Bloody Skillet
Connector. Carole & Chareles Jensen will be leading their tour to
familiarize the members of both fire companies with the area. The mock
accident will occur after that. They are also planning on eating lunch
at Newman's Sandwich Shop somewhere near noon.
The Centre County Sheriff's Office will also be on patrol this day to assist with mock accident if necessary.
Members, please use caution when riding on the trail & Snow Shoe Township Roads this day.
