On
Saturday, September 20, 2014 we celebrated our 2nd Annual Pig Roast
with Carns Equipment of Clearfield. A crowd that would make anyone happy
started showing up on Wednesday getting their spot for the weekend.
They came from as far away as North
Carolina. That group was still there as of Monday evening. Rich &
Colleen Randolph and volunteers did a great job parking to get everyone
in the trailhead or on both of the overflow parking areas. We had a
great bunch of volunteers that made this event such a success. Chris
Vangor family and friends did another excellent job roasting the pigs.
We also want to thank Marks Meats of Lamar for getting and preparing the
hogs. Members, without your support we could not hold such an event, so
we want to thank you for being here. Carns Equipment, thank you all as
it was a wonderful day!
