August meeting relocated

The SSRTA monthly meeting for tomorrow,  Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Brothers Pizza in Wingate is now rescheduled for Philipsburg Elks Lodge. Please arrive at 6pm to eat dinner with each other. The meeting starts at 7pm. The meeting will be in the large room used for initiations. Reason for cancelling the meeting at Brothers Pizza in Wingate is due to the fire. Hope to see you at Philipsburg Elks Lodge tomorrow night.

DCNR Youth Certification Training at Best Line Powersports of Centre Hall

Snow Shoe Rails to Trails in conjunction with Best Line Powersports of Centre Hall held DCNR Youth Certification Training on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Centre Hall location. Bob Biggans, Mark Watson, Marty Wagner and Dwayne Cossnar were the certified trainers that volunteered their time to help these young individuals get certified. A meal was provided by Snow Shoe Rails to Trails and Best Line Powersports to parents/friends and attendees for the training. Fred Yearick did a great job grilling the dogs. Those attendees receiving their temporary drivers registration are: Victor Addams, Gabriel Bishop, Evan Taylor, Jarret Landis, Benner Tressler, Daniel Bomberger, Charles, Bomberger, Sam Vesnesky, Bryleigh Weaver, Austin Kreslovich, Carter Padisak. Trilby  Mayes, President of SSRTA and her grandaughter Piper Bartley presented the trainees with the temporary driving certificate and a Snow Shoe Rails to Trails T-shirt.
