Trail Grading

Cameron Fye volunteering his time to grade the trail today. He got rid of some brush over-hanging the trail as well. Sure doing a good job at filling in a few pot holes and getting the crown back into the trail. We sure are fortunate to have the group of great volunteers. Thank you Cameron. 

Gillentown Trailhead Memorial

Gary Halsnik & Larry Mayes reorganized some memorial brick and laid several new bricks at the Gillentown Trailhead Memorial today. Lot's of family members that are missed dearly and thought of often.

New Corporate Sponsor Sign

Richner's Custom Exhaust purchased a corporate sign and it was installed at Black Bear Trailhead. Lot's of good corporate sponsors advertising their business.

Youth ATV Training

 Snow Shoe Rails to Trails held DCNR ATV Youth Certification Training at Dotterer Equipment in Lamar on Saturday, June 5, 2021.  A classroom session was held first and procedures reviewed,  then the training went to hands on riding the atvs in the field. Afterwards, the attendees received a temporary registration certificate and a Snow Shoe Rails to Trails T-shirt. A meal was provided by Snow Shoe Rails to Trails and Dotterer Equipment. The trail would like to thank our volunteer trainers, Bob Biggans, Mark Watson, George Holt, Dwayne Kossar for their hard work to train the kids on this very hot day.
