SSRTA Raffle held on Saturday, October 8, 2022
Alot of manhours and work went into getting the pavilion ready for Saturday's raffle. A group placed plastic around the outside to help keep the wind out. There were more people at this raffle than any previous raffles and there was more food provided than any other raffle. We still ran out of food. So, everyone is already preparing for next year. Thank you all that came out to support the event and hope you all had a great time.

Centre County Day Of Caring
Eighteen Bald Eagle Area Students arrived at Gillentown Trailhead around 9am yesterday, October 6, 2022. They were all eager to get started on painting the perimeter fence around the parking lot. Gary Halsnik and Larry Mayes assisted the two Bald Eagle Teachers assigning work and keeping the crews stocked with supplies. Some crews were wiping down the metal pipe in preparation for the painters. The students were divided into several groups and would paint from one post to another. They also collected the trash from the work detail. The teachers were awesome pointing out any places needing touched up. About 3/4 of the fence got painted till it was time for them to eat their lunch and leave. SSRTA Officers want to thank them all for volunteering for this project.
